Crowned a favorite in our trial gardens for several years, Tiara Hybrid Cabbage produces uniform, small, 1-3 lb. heads with plenty of juicy crispness. The light-green, sweet cabbage heads are dense with short cores and a crunchy texture. It's our favorite for eating fresh, in slaws and salads. An early maturing variety with very compact plants, Tiara Hybrid is ideally suited for close-spaced gardens and mini cabbage production. Like other cabbage plants and cole crops, Tiara Hybrid Cabbage prefers cooler weather and can be grown in the spring or fall garden. When growing in the spring, start cabbage seed indoors and transplant to the garden. For the fall garden, seed can be directly sown into the garden or started indoors and transplanted. 50-60 DAYS.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
